Guilt can be such a heavy burden to bear. When you are trapped in it, if can be difficult to see how to get free. Like having cement blocks for shoes, guilt can weigh you down, hold you back and keep you from the life of freedom, peace, joy and service you were meant to have.
Freedom. That’s the change that happens when one learns to depend on God instead of a god for one’s deepest questions—“Will anyone love me?” “Am I important to anybody?”
